The John J. Sherrard Hospitaler Fund 

This Fund was established on December 27, 1934, with an initial donation of $1000.00 from Brother John J. Sherrard to The Valley of Steubenville as a fund to financially assist any member of our valley in their time of need.  In time, through wise investments and donations, this fund has grown to a point where we have been able to help our deserving brothers through the years.

 “The vicissitudes of life, illness, and old age, or reversal of fortune’s favor seriously affect a relatively small number of our brethren and their families.  When it happens, they need our concern and claim our prompt and fraternal exercise of benevolence.” 

If you are aware of any brother needing assistance, please inform the office of this need.  All disbursements from this fund to any member of our valley are kept in the strictest confidence. 

Our present Hospitaler, Brother Howard L. McClure, 33,  and his committee, will handle all such requests in a timely manner.
